The process of doing so is incredibly simple.
After signing into Facebook, do the following:
- Goto http://www.facebook.com/settings/?tab=applications

- Search for "Thexeroxprojects Testing App"

- Click the cross then click "Delete". On the next box confirming the app was deleted.
